Winter Exhibition | Mandell's Gallery | 1st - 31st December

Mandell’s Gallery Winter Exhibition is an eclectic collection. Featuring works from 19th century Norwich school, 20th century East Anglian painters through to contemporary artists. This exhibition will feature over 50 artists celebrating the diverse programme of exhibitions at Mandell’s Gallery.



Orla Kiely: A Life in Pattern | East Gallery NUA | Until 5th January 2019

This exhibition at East Gallery NUA offers a snapshot of Kiely’s design ethos, here embodied in a display of one hundred Kiely handbags from across the years.



An exhibition of drawings by Stuart Pearson Wright | Fairhurst Gallery | Until 2nd February 2019

The Fairhurst Gallery is proud to host the first solo exhibition in Norfolk by one of Britain’s most celebrated portraitists. (Elvis x 20) + (Tom x 1) will showcase the astonishingly detailed work of artist Stuart Pearson Wright, featuring 20 drawings of Elvis tribute acts from across the country and one portrait of a Tom Jones tribute act.


Picturing the Past | The Museum of Norwich at the Bridewell | Until 16th February 2019

What can we tell from family photos? Using local photographic archives this exhibition reveals how to unlock some of the clues in the images. In partnership with Picture Norfolk and Let’s Talk magazine.



Ecstasy in Norwich |Lower Green |8th - 22nd December

This exhibition draws on ideas presented by the life and beliefs of celebrated female mystic Julian of Norwich.


Taking part in two stages, the first will be a curated group exhibition of artists based in Norwich and across the UK and Europe. The second part is a presentation of artworks selected by open submission.



Norwich 20 Group Aspire Exhibition | Hostry at Norwich Cathedral | 15th December - 13th January 2019

Titled Aspire, an exhibition of art by members of Norwich 20 Group, including paintings and works on paper plus sculpture, with approximately 50 artists taking part.

Ken Kiff : The Sequence | Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts | Until 21st April 2019


Ken Kiff was one of the most original artists working in Britain at the end of the 20th century. Widely considered to be one of the most important artists of his generation, Kiff spent his career exploring issues that fused the complexity of the individual psyche with everyday life. This major exhibition is the first showing of his work in a public gallery for over 25 years, and comes at a time when many are re-appraising Kiff’s unique contribution.
