In the last week of July, thousands of people head in to Norwich for Norfolk’s premier comedy festival, Laugh In The Park. Here’s all you need to know...

So what’s all the fuss?

Laugh In The Park is brought to you by the fine people of Red Card Comedy Club, the largest monthly comedy club outside of London. You will find 4 evenings of cracking comedy under a Big Top in Chapelfield Gardens.

When is it?

The festival runs between Thursday 25th July – Sunday 28th July.

Where is it?

Chapelfield Gardens! Laugh In The Park transforms the stunning city centre location into a delightful performance and bar area for the duration of the festival.

So who is performing?

First up! Headlining Thursday evening, one of the most exciting comedy acts today, Chris Ramsey. Star of Comedy Central, his high-energy delivery, hugely engaging manner and off-the-cuff style have made him a TV regular on shows such as Never Mind the Buzzcocks and 8 Out of 10 Cats. He will be joined on the evening by 2015's English Comedian of the Year Brennan Reece, the UK's foremost guitar-wielding, loop-layering, beat-box stand-up comedian Rob Deering and Chortle's Best Compere of 2018, Kiri Pritchard-Mclean.

Friday night brings you Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner, Radio X Digital DJ, Vibe-Magnet and Internet-Based Quiz Show Host John Robins. Joining John on the night, distinctive, bouncy, feel-good comedy from Lucy Porter, award winning Glaswegian comic Larry Dean and your compere for the evening Masud Milas.

Headlining Saturday evening's show, award-winner, festival favourite and master of laughter, Stephen K Amos. His awards accolades from home and abroad are an impressive testament to his brilliant writing and performance skills. Joining Stephen, "the future of British comedy" Jayde Adams, the hilarious impressionist Luke Kempner and last but not least, Rich Wilson, armed with a goldmine of funny tales and an arsenal of deliciously filthy gags.

Headlining Sunday's final show and somewhat of a National Treasure nowadays, it's Phill Jupitus! Joining Phill on the night, a man whose talent is matched only by lunacy, Phil Nichol, the bubbly, cheeky and above all, absolutely hilarious Laura Lexx and Red Card favourite John Mann will be your compere for the evening.

We’re guessing there’s food and drink?

Absolutely! There will be local street food aplenty and a wonderfully stocked bar. We recommend arriving early so to enjoy it all and soak up the atmosphere.

Any other surprises in store?

Of course! Lucky ticket holders from the events on Friday and Saturday will be treated to a free Silent Disco with a late night bar.

Plus, on Sunday, there’ll be running a Kids Party In The Park with disco and entertainment from 12-4pm. Admission for this event is just £1 per person.

Don't miss out! Laugh In The Park runs from 25th - 28th July. You’ll find the full line up and additional info at http://www.redcardcomedyclub.com/laugh-in-the-park-norwich/
